Submission guidelines

Thanks for taking the time to read the Stourport Town submission guidelines. We’ve worked hard to make it as easy as possible for you to post content on the site that is useful to both residents and visitors. All we ask is that you follow our these guidelines and terms of use. These guidelines are in place to ensure everyone can access relevant information and feel safe doing so.

Content that doesn’t conform to submission guidelines will be removed. Repeated breaches of the submission guidelines and/or terms of use may result in account suspension, or your access to the site being blocked.

With that said, we’ve broken down the guidelines into simple sections so they’re easy to understand. Select a topic to read more.

Any events going on in Stourport-on-Severn, from music and theatre to support meetings or educational experiences.

Attractions are things of note in and around Stourport-on-Severn that people might visit from outside the area.

Local businesses, charities, community groups and other organisations show up in our directory. Your organisation must:

  • Be active and contain up-to-date information
  • Not breach any other part of the submission guidelines

If you aren’t sure whether your organisation is suitable, or want to discuss advertising opportunities or sponsored promotion, please contact us.

Events show up in our ‘What’s on’ events calendar and elsewhere throughout the site. Events must:

  • Have a confirmed venue in Stourport-on-Severn (DY13 postcode) OR be online events (e.g. Zoom events) specifically for the enjoyment or participation of the town’s residents.
  • Have a confirmed date and time
  • Be planned within 1 calendar year
  • Not breach any other part of the submission guidelines

If you don’t have these details, aren’t sure whether your event is suitable, or have a large-scale local event you wish to promote, please contact us.

Attractions appear in the ‘Visit’ area of the site, and are usually noteworthy destinations or days out. Attractions must:

  • Be physically located either in Stourport-on-Severn, or in the surrounding areas
  • Be of sufficient interest that people might travel from outside the area to visit (for example, the West Midlands Safari Park)
  • Be active and contain up-to-date information
  • Not breach any other part of the submission guidelines

If you aren’t sure whether your attraction is suitable, please contact us.
