Join the library and enjoy all the benefits of FREE membership.

  • You can borrow 12 books, 6 DVD’s or 12 Audio-books at any one time.
  • We stock fiction and non-fiction for all ages including board books for babies, easy readers for KS1 & KS2 and dyslexia-friendly titles.
  • DVD’s can be hired for £1.30 per week.
  • No late fees or reservation on books borrowed by under 18s.
  • You can browse the library collection, renew or reserve books online.
  • Library services at home for those housebound in our community.
  • We offer 2 hours FREE internet access per day via our People’s Network computers (under 16s need parent/carer’s consent) and free WiFi.
  • Printing and Photocopying facilities.
  • FREE computer tuition with our Digital Champion volunteer.
  • Access to county-wide adult learning courses.
  • You can download and borrow e-books, audiobooks and magazines online by registering with OverDrive & Zinio Apps for FREE.
  • Pre-school children can join our FREE song and rhyme sessions.
  • We offer children’s events and activities during the school holidays, including a summer reading challenge.
