Bishops Wood is recognised nationally for its work in environmental and sustainability education. Bishops Wood is a unique centre set in the heart of a 70 acre site, which includes ancient woodland, meadows and other habitats. Bishops Wood aims to increase people’s understanding of sustainable development through education, partnerships, and demonstrating best practice.
We are developing a range of workshops which embrace many traditional skills, such as greenwood working, and working with willow.
We also have public event days, a number of rooms and venue are available to hire, School visits and training.
