Stourport Carnival has been held annually since 1925 and is eagerly anticipated by many each year.
Thousands of people line the streets of Stourport-on-Severn to watch the parade and soak-up the carnival spirit! Featuring floats, marching bands and a variety of small vehicle and walking entries, the land parade has something for all the family. The fun then moves down to the carnival field where there is a host of entertainment to keep everyone happy. Two river parades feature later in the day and a fantastic firework display brings the event to a close.
Stourport Carnival is organised and run by a small committee of dedicated volunteers who work hard all year round to put together an exciting and fun-filled event for all the family.
Money raised from the carnival is donated to local charities and organisations so the more money we can raise each year, the more people we are able to help.

Grab a blanket, sit back and enjoy some awesome local musical talent from 1pm onwards! Our bandstand line-up includes James Baker (James Baker Acoustic), Meg Shaw (Meg Shaw),The Follicles (The Follicles), The Smokin’ Tones (The Smokin’ Tones) and Richard Ryan (Singrr Entertainments – Richard Ryan). Plus the Monday Night Group (Monday Night Group) will be performing a small piece to show you what they get up to!!
