Volunteer for the Carnival
Adults are required for assisting in many aspects of Stourport Carnival. No matter what the role, big or small, we would love to meet you and share the excitement of carnival.
Many groups who we support already donate volunteers who are an essential part of ensuring carnival goes ahead, for more information on charitable donations click here
All appropriate training and equipment will be given to ensure you are comfortable and enjoy the experience
These roles require little more than to turn up on the day and help out, we will guide you through the enjoyment of the day and the exact role you will be playing in helping the thousands of people who attend carnival every year

Road Closure Marshall
The land parade requires strategic set road closures in order to ensure safety, an essential part of carnival. 26 roads need to be closed over the course of the 3 hour parade
Ensure road and public safety during the famous land parade, role involves walking with floats to maintain continuity and safety of the parade
Set Up and Dismantle Operators
Assist in building the day and all its glory! Could you donate a few hours of your time and energy on the Friday before carnival? You could help us build the carnival field ready for the day itself!
PLEASE NOTE: Traders are advised to apply early as we have had to decline applications previously to avoid duplication of trade. We retain the right to refuse applications and return cheques, please complete the trade application form or contact Andy Evans for all trade enquires – email@example.com
The deadline for trader applications is 15th August.
Please ensure you have read and understood the requirements for health and safety, public liability, food hygiene certification, health and safety risk assessment as they apply to your trading area.
Ingress and egress from the field will ONLY be allowed at times specified, please plan your day to comply with this.
